The Toronto Maple Leafs announced Tuesday afternoon that forward Nazem Kadri has been recalled from the Toronto Marlies (AHL). Kadri has 17 goals and 24 assists in 44 games with the Marlies in 2010-11 while posting a plus 2 mark.

He appeared in 17 earlier games with the Maple Leafs this season and he had been with the Marlies since December 29th. The London, Ontario native appeared in five preseason games with the Maple Leafs in 2010, collecting three points (2 goals, 1 assist) and two penalty minutes. Kadri made his NHL debut last season on February 8, 2010 against the San Jose Sharks.

Kadri was Toronto’s first choice, seventh overall, in the 2009 Entry Draft.
