The St. John’s IceCaps today announced they have released forward Josh Lunden from his professional tryout contract.
Lunden, 25, has played in two games with the IceCaps since signing his PTO on Feb. 6/12. Lunden will return to the Las Vegas Wranglers of the ECHL where he has played in 30 games this season for 31 points (12g, 18a) and 44 penalty minutes.
The Coquitlam, BC native has now played in 23 career AHL games between San Antonio, Peoria, and St. John’s for two points (0g, 2a) and 13 penalty minutes.
