Toronto MarliesThe Toronto Marlies dropped game one of the Calder Cup Final tonight by a score of 3-1 from the Scope Arena in Norfolk.

The Admirals jumped out to a 1-0 lead midway through the first period on a goal from forward Cory Conacher. Tyler Johnson added to the Norfolk lead with a power play marker just over 10 minutes into the second period. Carter Ashton’s first professional playoff goal cut the lead to 2-1 with over 15 minutes to go in the third period. The Marlies were unable to tie the game on a power play late in the third period.
