Winnipeg JetsThe Winnipeg Jets are pleased to announce they have agreed to terms with forward Maxime Macenauer on a new contract. As per club policy, terms of the agreement were not disclosed. 

Maxenauer, 23, played in nine games with the St. John’s IceCaps last season where he recorded one assist. He also suited up for 10 Calder Cup Playoff games with the IceCaps where he scored one goal. He began the season with the Syracuse Crunch where he played 13 games for six points (4G, 2A) and two penalty minutes. 

The Laval, PQ native also played in 29 games last season with the Anaheim Ducks where he recorded four points (1G, 3A) and 18 penalty minutes.  He has played in 101 career AHL games between Syracuse and St. John’s where he has recorded 39 points (17G, 22A) and 69 penalty minutes. 

He was originally drafted by the Anaheim Ducks in the third round, 63rd overall, in the 2007 NHL Draft.
