The Winnipeg Jets today announced they have recalled forward Eric O’Dell from the St. John’s IceCaps of the American Hockey League.
O’Dell, 23, has played in 28 games with the IceCaps so far this season. In that time, the right-handed centre has recorded 29 points (12G, 17A) and 20 penalty minutes. The Ottawa, ON native has appeared in 129 career AHL games between Chicago and St. John’s for 106 career points (53G, 53A) and 73 career penalty minutes.
He was originally drafted by the Anaheim Ducks in the second round, 39th overall, in the 2008 NHL Draft.
