Brennan Tallies Twice in Loss

The Texas Stars defeated the Toronto Marlies by a score of 3-2 tonight in game three of the Western Conference Final at Ricoh Coliseum. With the win, Texas now leads the best-of-seven series 2-1.

Toronto would open the scoring for the tenth consecutive game when T.J. Brennan scored his fifth postseason goal at 9:16 of the first period. Texas would tie the game early in the middle frame with Patrik Nemeth tallying his first of the playoffs at 3:16. The two teams would trade goals in the final frame with Kevin Henderson giving the Stars a 2-1 advantage and T.J. Brennan responding with his second goal of the night at 10:15. Travis Morin would tally his fourth goal of the postseason with just under 10 minutes remaining in regulation to secure a 3-2 victory for Texas.

The Western Conference Final resumes tomorrow night at Ricoh Coliseum with puck drop set for 7 p.m. ET. Game five will also be played in Toronto on Saturday at 3 p.m. ET.
