
The Toronto Maple Leafs announced Wednesday that the hockey club has recalled Sam Carrick from the American Hockey League’s Toronto Marlies.
Carrick, 22, made his NHL debut earlier this season on November 1 against the Chicago Blackhawks. The Stouffville, Ontario native has been held pointless in five games with the Maple Leafs this season. Carrick has also recorded 16 points (three goals, 13 assists) and 66 penalty minutes in 31 regular season games with the Toronto Marlies so far this season.
The Maple Leafs return to the ice tonight when they host the Washington Capitals at 7 p.m.
