Brian Burke, President and General Manager of the Toronto Maple Leafs, announced Wednesday that forward Nazem Kadri has been assigned to the Toronto Marlies of the American Hockey League (AHL).

Kadri, 20, was recalled from the AHL on November 12 and he collected six assists and six penalty minutes in the 17 games with the Maple Leafs. He registered five goals, nine assists, 14 points, 20 penalty minutes and a plus-two rating in 14 earlier games with the Toronto Marlies this season.
