After a win against Cuba now Canada will take on Honduras on Tuesday in their world cup qualifier second match at BMO Field, Toronto. Canada has not eligible for a World Cup since 1986. They have not made the final round of qualifying, the Hexagonal, since 1998.
Canada showed a world rank of 77 and has produced many experienced players. Canada's goalkeeper Lars Hirschfeld will not be able to play this match as received a red card for a hand ball outside the box against Cuba.
Probable Canada line-up for match includes: Borjan; Ledgerwood, McKenna, Edgar, Jazic; de Guzman, Hutchinson; Ricketts, De Rosario, Johnson; Occean.
Honduras secures a world rank of 55 and has the most experienced and quality forward line. Honduras qualified for the World Cup in 2010, it’s their first appearance in the tournament since 1982. Honduras has played five matches in 2012, and not has a successful record in those games. Honduras also lost their first match against Panama. Probable Hunduras squad for match includes: Valladares; Bernardez, Figuroa, Leveron, Izaguirre; Sabillon, Palacios, Delgado, Garcia; Costly, Mejia.
The results are favoring Canada as Honduras is not performing up to the mark in their first match. A win for the home side would put them in the front seat with four games remaining before the major ones.
