Aussies are badly hurt and looking to face their dominating opponents England in their 4th ODI match at Chester-le-Street on Saturday, 7th July. The 3rd ODI was abandoned due to the bad weather and filled hosts with the confidence of having advantage over the rivals with 2-0 in the series till now. England has equaled its best ever ODI winning streak in the 2nd ODI while Australian team is underperforming within this tournament. It seems like English parade will end with this encounter.
The all-round excellence of the English team has enabled them to achieve their recent success within the ODI format. In case of having any chances to lose, any batsman come forward and led them to victory. The opening pair of Alastair Cook and Ian Bell is performing brilliantly; both have delivered their team rapid and strong starts.
The bowlers have been fantastically playing their parts to perfection ensuring the batting efforts always returned fruitful results. Probable English squad will include: Alastair Cook (c), Ian Bell, Jonathan Trott, Ravi Bopara, Eoin Morgan, Craig Kieswetter (wk), Tim Bresnan, Stuart Broad, James Tredwell, James Anderson/Chris Woakes, Steve Finn.
Two awesome openers from the Aussies side, Shane Watson and David Warner despite scoring half-centuries each do not prove to become a dominant opening pair. Also George Bailey and skipper Michael Clarke have played nicely through the tough conditions, yet they have not been able to produce winning knocks for their teams.
Australian bowlers are also terrific but need to concentrate more on attacking the hosts and take early wickets to get them into a thick soup. The Australian team to play include: David Warner, Shane Watson, George Bailey, Michael Clarke (c), David Hussey, Matthew Wade (wk), Steve Smith/Peter Forrest, Brett Lee, Mitchell Johnson, James Pattinson/Ben Hilfenhaus/Clint McKay, Xavier Doherty.
Pitch looks seam-friendly and the top-order will have to watch-out for the swing until the twin new ball loses his sheen. Weather seems like affect this game too as rain is predicted to fall during the afternoon period.
