Stage 7 of the 2012 Tour de France is planned for Saturday, July 7, and will continue in Tomblaine and finish at La Planche des Belles Filles, which has medium mountains with a total 1,035m high point over a distance of 199 km, from this stage race will be getting very exciting.
The race continues towards the medium mountains from Tomblaine to La Planche des Belles Filles. Tomblaine makes up with nineteen other municipalities the Urban Community of Greater Nancy and is in the inner bounds of the capital of Lorraine from which it is alienated by the Meurthe river. La Planche des Belles Filles is a family resort which is the only snow park in the Haute-Sâone.
This is the first steep mountain stage and most experts consider that the route of this year’s Tour very lucky for the time trial specialists and Frank Schleck is the candidate most frequently picked out as the rider for whom this is a difficult stage. Contenders that have fallen behind in the group have a possibility to restructure ground in Stage 7.
On this basis, Schleck and other climbers who struggle against the clock, such as Robert Gesink and Pierre Rolland, will have to take lead in these type stages. All the harm will be made on the final climb, which has never previously attributed on the Tour but offers a breathtaking finish to the Trois Ballons sportive.
