On Saturday August 11, 2012, different striking sports games will be played all over the day.
Today we see the last day of competition at the magnificent Olympic Stadium. Organizing team has less than a day to prepare the stage for the Closing Ceremony on Sunday night.
In last Saturday, 23 sports were played in one day, but this Saturday looks more exciting as 32 gold medals will be distributed today!
The Olympic champions in the men's 50km Race Walk, women's Mountain Bike, men's 10m Platform Diving, men's Hockey, women's Handball and many, many more will be rewarded today. starting with the men's Kayak Single (K1) 200m Canoe Sprint.
It’s been a busy day at the Excel with ten bronze medal sessions to go. The Men's Super Heavy (91kg) was the final of many thrilling encounters, with Britains Anthony Joshua ultimately moving ahead to the final after having three close rounds.
Day 15 started with men's Hockey match between South Africa and India who are fighting for 11th and 12th place in the competition.
On the second last day of competition, a new London 2012 venue has been lay down to make its entrance – Hadleigh Farm in Essex will host the Mountain Bike competition.
Shortly after that the men's Modern Pentathlon set up with the Fencing element which takes place in the Copper Box. All five rudiments of this event will take place today, so it's a great trial of the athlete's fitness and consistency.
