Pakistani team would enter the stadium for the third ODI with high morale as they convincingly defeated the kangaroos in the second ODI by seven wickets.

Pakistani skipper, Misbah ul Haq is quite hopeful to win the series against Australia, a win that would help Pakistan to seal the trophy against Australia after 2002. In the bowling department, it would be delightful to watch Pakistani spinners Saeed Ajmal, Shahid Afridi, likely to play after recovering from injury, and Mohammad Hafeez in the match as they gave tough time to Aussies in the two matches.

Pakistan’s shaky batting line is fully confident after defeating Australia by seven wickets, chasing a target of 249 runs. Nasir Jamshed, Azhar Ali, Asad Shafiq, Mohammad Hafeez, Misbah-ul-Haq and Kamran Akmal would play vital role in building the Pakistan’s inning.

Australian captain Michael Clarke, whose team is facing difficulties to cope up with the strong Pakistan spin attack and hot weather, had managed to carve out a strategy against the spin attack that would prove supportive for them to once again defeat Pakistan in a series. While Australia are not passing through their good time as they slid to fourth position in ICC ranking  from number one for the first time in three years after losing 4-0 to England last month.

Australian pace attack will include Mitchell Starc, Pattinson and Mitchell Johnson. In the Aussies batting line Michael Clarke, George Bailey and Michael Hussey can tactically deal the Pakistani spin attack.

Comparatively Australia have edge over Pakistan as both the team played 86 games since 1975 and the Aussies won 52 while the green shirts stood victorious in just 30. In last 25 matches between the both teams, Australia has won 20 while Pakistan won only five.
