The 2012 Tour Championship Day 2 will begin on Friday 21 September 2012, at East Lake Golf Club, Atlanta, United States.  It was another better day in terms of the atmosphere. On day one, Tiger Woods and England’s Justin Rose both ablaze four-under par 66s on Thursday to share the front after the first round of the US PGA Tour Championship. It was the first step toward the Woods hopes to hold the third Fed­Ex Cup title.

A group of Americans Steve Stricker, Matt Kuchar, Bo Van Pelt and Scott Piercy sharing third position with 67 points. Besides, another group of  Americans Hunter Mahan, Brandt Snedeker, Zach Johnson, Robert Garrigus and Australian Adam Scott on 68.

World No. 1 Rory McIlroy of Northern Ireland, who was victorious in three of his past four tournaments, fired a 69. He is one of the strong contenders of this tournament too.

Even though the Tour Championship marking the top 30 on the PGA Tour, the spotlight again returned to the top two players. An energetic crowd waiting to see the newest edition of Tiger and Rory, and both didn’t let down them.
