IPL 2012 champions, Kolkata Knight Riders will look to bounce back after facing a big defeat at the hands of Delhi Daredevils when they take on rampaging qualifiers Auckland in a Group A match of the Champions League Twenty20 as the tournament moves to Newlands in Cape Town, on Monday.

KKR had begun their campaign with a disastrous 52-run defeat to Delhi Daredevils. Although, the bowlers had decently restricted Delhi to 160 for eight but batsmen get failed to chase the target, especially the top order which remain unable to add any runs to the total.

Opener Manvinder Bisla, Brendon McCullum and skipper Gautam Gambhir all came a cropper against Delhi and they would have to do a lot of soul-searching before they take the field on Monday. The probable KKR squad will include: Gautam Gambhir (c), Lakshmipathy Balaji, Rajat Bhatia, Manvinder Bisla (Wk), Debabrata Das, Iqbal Abdulla, Jacques Kallis, Brett Lee, Brendon McCullum (Wk), Sunil Narine, Yusuf Pathan, Pradeep Sangwan, Shakib Al Hasan, Ryan ten Doeschate, Manoj Tiwary.

On the other hand, Auckland would be feeling high due to having dream run in the Champions League qualifiers beating Sialkot Stallions and Hampshire with great conviction. They opened their campaign with a six-wicket win over Sialkot Stallions, before winning against Hampshire by eight wickets. Kyle Mills and Andre Adams have well used their pace attack, while left-arm spinner Ronnie Hira has given tough time to the batsmen and picked up four wickets so far in the tournament.

The batting department is also well equipped with the presence of opener Martin Guptill – who led from the front by scoring valuable runs. His partner Lou Vincent has also got starts and he would look to convert them. The former Pakistan all-rounder Azhar Mahmood has also been their most valuable player so far. He picked up a five-for against Hampshire in their last match and also scored a match-winning unbeaten 55 and he would surely look to continue this form on Monday. The likely Aces’ lineup will include: Gareth Hopkins (C & WC), Andre Adams, Azhar Mahmood, Michael Bates, Bradley Cachopa, Colin de Grandhomme, Martin Guptill, Ronnie Hira, Anaru Kitchen, Mitchell McClenaghan, Bruce Martin, Chris Martin, Kyle Mills, Colin Munro, Lou Vincent.
