The Australian Open play-off concluding matches got underway on Sunday 16th December 2012, which takes place in Melbourne Park, Australia.
On Saturday Australian Open 2013 play-offs, Monique Adamczak dismissed the unseeded Tammi Patterson in the semifinals.
The two set 6-1 6-3 win propels the 29-year-old into the final of event, where Bojana Bobusic will play in the main event at Melbourne Park for the 4th time.
Ben Mitchell is moved into final after having a second consecutive Australian Open place after a tough fight filled five-set hard win over Matt Barton in the semifinals of the Australian Open 2013 Play-off. It would almost took five hours to win 6-3, 7-6(0), 6-7(5), 3-6, 9-7 in extreme conditions.
Intriguing the first two sets easily and commanding 3-0 in the third set, Mitchell will play tomorrow’s final against close companion Matt Reid.
Bojana Bobusic has won her first Australian Open Play-off final after beating fourth seed Arina Rodionova in only two sets, 7-5 6-2.
It was an excellent demonstration by Bobusic who lost to Rodionova in a tight three set encounter just few weeks back in Traralgon.
On the other hand, Matt Reid has offend second seed John-Patrick Smith to reach the final of the Australian Open 2013 Play-off.
