On Wednesday February 6th, 2013, stage 4 will be started in Tour of Qatar, as Mark Cavendish (GBr) Omega Pharma-Quick-Step Cycling Team won stage 3 of the Tour of Qatar, out-classed Barry Markus (Ned) Vacansoleil-DCM Pro Cycling Team on the stage starting from Al Wakra and ending at Masaieed Street while Aidis Kruopis (Ltu) Orica-GreenEdge finished third. Stage 4 has a flat category over a distance of 160km; it starts from Camel Race Track to Al Khor Cornicheto. Race had been started on Sunday February 3rd, 2013, and will ends on Friday, February 8th, 2013.
BMC has managed the winning spot on the Opening two stages, were again high up at the start-up kilometres, with Adam Blythe helping to defend Bookwalter’s golden jersey by pipping Cavendish by millimeters to take the 3-second bonus at the first midway sprint after 20km.
The stage 3 win elevates Mark Cavendish (GBr) Omega Pharma-Quick-Step Cycling Team to 4th overall, 8 seconds off the golden jersey of Brent Bookwalter (BMC), who ended safely in the bunch to protect his overall lead.
