The Northern Trust Open 2013 will be continued on Friday February 15th 2013 at Riviera Country Club in Pacific Palisades, Calif. The tournament will be ending on Sunday February 17th 2013. After that event players are getting ready for the first World Golf Championships event.
In round one, Americans are leading the way with Matt Kuchar as he holds the top position on the leader board with a solid 5-under par through his first 12 holes of the tournament with total of 64 points. Sergio Garcia is on second position with one under par difference. Third position owned by another American, Brandt Jobe with 4-under through 15.
In the year 2012, Phil Mickelson, Keegan Bradley and Bill Haas entered a playoff after finishing tied for first at seven-under later on Haas finally won the tournament.
On Day one, Matt Kuchar was at his best as he hitting the ball well and playing with accuracy, with this superb approach and effortless putt for birdie on the par-five 17th hole.
