After losing the series with 0-2, Zimbabwe will be looking for consolation win against the West Indies in their third and final ODI clash at the National Cricket Stadium at St George’s on Tuesday.
The final ODI is nothing more than a dead rubber match, but after a closely fought 2nd ODI, Zimbabwe would be hoping to grab a victory as they will enter the clash by performing better ever. Brendan Taylor remained unable to perform with the bat during the entire series, almost every other Zimbabwean batsman has contributed and so does he need to show some nice play and come ahead to take a lead as a skipper. The likely Zimbabwean lineup will include: Brendan Taylor (capt), Hamilton Masakadza, Vusi Sibanda, Tino Mawoyo, Kyle Jarvis, Tendai Chatara, Chris Mpofu, Prosper Utseya, Regis Chakabva, Malcolm Waller, Keegan Meth, Craig Ervine, Chamu Chibhabha, Tino Mutombodzi, Natsai M’shangwe.
On the other hand, the Caribbean side would be eyeing for a whitewash after winning two consecutive ODIs and wrapping up the series at the earliest possible. Dwayne Bravo seems to be having a great time at the moment, performing well with both the bat and the ball but his bowling in the 2nd ODI was not only incredible but also a match winning contribution.
