On Saturday March 15th, 2013, The Australian Grand Prix practice sessions continued at the Albert Park street circuit in the city of Melbourne.
Formula One’s three-time preeminence world champion Sebastian Vettel showing he is the man to set the fastest time in both practice sessions Friday for the season-opening Australian Grand Prix.
Vettel and Red Bull associate Mark Webber set the two fastest times around the Albert Park circuit, straight away crushed the hopes of their rivals. Mercedes’ Nico Rosberg was third quickest but suffered a suspected gearbox failure that went him behind in the second session, shortly after that the new partner Lewis Hamilton pierce off the track into a tire wall.
Lotus’ Kimi Raikkonen and Romain Grosjean were fourth and fifth best. The Ferrari pair Fernando Alonso and Felipe Massa were sixth and eighth excluding Hamilton while compel India’s Adrian Sutil and Sauber’s Nico Hulkenberg to last 10 positions respectively.
