After getting reduced to bottom half after four losses, defending champions Kolkata Knight Riders would be looking to sort out their game plan as they face another struggling giant Mumbai Indians in second of their three back-to-back home fixtures in the sixth Pepsi IPL in Kolkata on Wednesday.

Both sides need 2 points to maintain their chase for the top four going as they are just a few games away from reaching the top four. Any failure to reach the top four will surely disappoint these two teams as they have plenty of quality in them. The Yusuf Pathan experiment at the top of the order seems to be working as he made a decent contribution for his side but Kolkata will be requiring more from him as he owes them a lot. The likely KKR squad will include: 1. Yusuf Pathan, 2. Gautam Gambhir (capt) , 3. Jacques Kallis/Brendon McCullum, 4. Manoj Tiwary, 5. Eoin Morgan, 6. Debabrata Das, 7. Rajat Bhatia, 8. Laxmi Shukla 9. Sachitra Senanayake, 10. Sunil Narine, 11. Lakshmipathy Balaji.

It is shocking for the fans not to see Mumbai in the top four as they possess a well-balanced side, they really need their super star bowler Lasith Malinga to start taking a few wickets to make their way to victory. Mumbai are constantly struggling with the ball this season more than anything and remained unsuccessful to find any wicket taking bowler apart from Johnson who also proves to be very expensive. The probable MI lineup will include: 1. Dwayne Smith/Glenn Maxwell/Phillip Hughes, 2. Sachin Tendulkar, 3. Dinesh Karthik (wk), 4. Rohit Sharma, 5. Ambati Rayudu, 6 Kieron Pollard, 7. Ricky Ponting (capt) , 8. Harbhajan Singh, 9. Munaf Patel, 10. Lasith Malinga, 11. Pragyan Ojha.
