Birmingham’s crowd comprise of large number of Pakistan supporters which would also support Pakistan team feel at home and provide them with an amazing game. Pakistan’s Edgbaston record is actually not that good. In all competitions, they have won six, lost nine and drawn three. They lost their last Test in Birmingham against England three years ago and also lost their last ODI on the ground in 2006. Mathews’ main concern is to adapt to the English conditions and the warm up matches will help to serve the purpose. Recently, Sri Lanka is out of practice, as most of the team players were playing in the IPL but Mathews is quite confident of his team-mates and believe that they are able to deliver their best in this tournament. The probable Sri Lankan lineup will include: Angelo Mathews (c), Dinesh Chandimal (vc), Dilhara Lokuhettige Tillakaratne Dilshan, Shaminda Eranga, Rangana Herath, Mahela Jayawardene Nuwan Kulasekara, Lasith Malinga, Jeevan Mendis, Kusal Perera, Thisara Perera, Kumar Sangakkara (wk), Sachithra Senanayake, Lahiru Thirimanne.
