With an intention to whitewash the Ashes test series, Australia will play against England in the 5th and final test match in Sydney on Thursday.
Australia are looking to destroy England’s confidence and pride by winning this final test match but will be hoping to do that with the same squad they have played all series amid injury concerns. All the batsmen performed well for Australia but if George Bailey gets another game he will be hoping to contribute through scoring nice runs or else his spot in team would be under risk. The likely Australian lineup will include: 1 Chris Rogers, 2 David Warner, 3 Shane Watson, 4 Michael Clarke (capt), 5Steven Smith, 6 George Bailey/James Faulkner, 7 Brad Haddin (wk), 8 Mitchell Johnson, 9 Peter Siddle, 10 Ryan Harris, 11 Nathan Lyon.
On the other hand, England will make a few changes to their lineup entering this final test as stated by Alistair Cook with young Scott Borthwick set to make his Test debut for England which will be a huge test as the Australian batsmen have attacked Swann and Panesar all series.
