On Thursday February 6th, 2014, Olympics will be starting and this will be the first time that the Russian Federation will have hosted the Winter Olympics Games; the Soviet Union hosted the 1980 Summer Games in Moscow. The host city Sochi is the third largest region in Russia, that has the population of 400k people.

Fisht Olympic Stadium is a gigantic and exclusive venue perfect for the grand events like  the opening ceremonies. It’s one of the 11 venues that will also host the 2018 FIFA World Cup, and it is very near to the Olympic Village that will address the athletes for the 2014 Winter Games.

The Games will be organized in two groups: a coastal group for ice events in Sochi, and a mountain group located in the Krasnaya Polyana Mountains. This will make it one of the most thrilling event ever, with approximately 30 minutes travel time from the coastal to mountain group.
