In a bid to end a disastrous tour on a positive note, India will face the confident New Zealand in the second and final Test starting in Wellington on Friday.

The Indian side had to suffer a 40-run lost at Auckland Test after getting smashed in the five-match ODI series by an embarrassing margin of 0-4. Entering this match, the visitors would be desperate enough to gather all their courage and avoid another series loss. The inform batsman Ross Taylor has been ruled out for the second Test to return home for the birth of his child. Tom Latham is set to replace Taylor and make his debut as a batsman.
