Bangladesh will start their tour to West Indies with the opening ODI to be played at St George’s on Wednesday.
Previously, when these two teams faced each other in the Caribbean, it was Bangladesh who were surprise winners after taking out a five match series 3-2. Tamim Iqbal has struggled with his form over the past few years and Bangladesh are really missing an opening batsman who can lead the team through providing a good start. The likely Bangladeshi line-up will include: 1 Tamim Iqbal, 2 Anamul Haque, 3 Imrul Kayes, 4 Mominul Haque, 5 Mushfiqur Rahim (capt & wk), 6 Nasir Hossain, 7 Mahmudullah, 8 Abdur Razzak/Sohag Gazi, 9 Mashrafe Mortaza, 10 Taskin Ahmed, 11 Al-Amin Hossain.
On the other hands, West Indies would be looking to win this time with a fully strengthened team to avenge their loss last time round. They will only be missing Dwayne Smith but they have the big three in Kieron Pollard, Chris Gayle and Dwayne Bravo available who have struggled with injury over the past 12 months.
