The FIFA International schedule features a full slate of football matches these coming days, including a pair of Men’s International Friendly matches featuring Canada over the long weekend. In all, there are 67 international matches over a five-day period from 3-7 September, with Canada facing Peru on 4 September in Toronto and then Honduras on 7 September in Montréal.

Tickets to both Canadian home matches are available now. Tickets to the 4 September match at BMO Field (17.30 kickoff) are available via Ticketmaster at Ticketmaster.ca / 416.872.5000. Tickets to the 7 September match at Stade Saputo (19.30 kickoff) are available via ADMISSION at ADMISSION.com / 416.872.5000. Both matches will be broadcast live on Rogers Sportsnet (all four channels).

"We are playing at home, so like other teams we would like to become very tough to beat at home – perhaps invincible," said national head coach Stephen Hart. "If we can get a pro Canadian crowd, that will go a long way."

Canada is facing two teams that feature new head coaches, with Sergio Markarian now in charge of Peru and Juan Castillo now in charge of Honduras.

"This Peruvian team has a new coach and they haven’t played under him yet," said Hart. "We don’t know what his approach will be, but we are making our players aware of what certain players like to do."

The international action featuring CONCACAF teams got underway on Friday 3 September with Panama hosting Costa Rica to a 2:2 draw. On Saturday 4 September, Canada hosts Peru, El Salvador faces Honduras, Guatemala faces Nicaragua, and Mexico hosts Ecuador. On Sunday 5 September, Jamaica hosts Costa Rica. Then on Tuesday 7 September, Canada hosts Honduras, El Salvador faces Guatemala, Jamaica faces Peru, Panama hosts Trinidad and Tobago, and Mexico hosts Colombia.
