It is said that the archetypal Lover’s greatest fear is being alone, unwanted, and unloved; a fear rampant in today’s rapidly changing, technological society. ‘TIL DEATH (DO US PART) explores that fear and uncertainty through a series of sketches, episodically strung together to make one (hopefully) coherent story, about a new company called Canada’s Cupid Corporation™ that claims to make anyone loveable.
Conceived by recent Second City Conservatory graduate Lauren Griffiths, ‘TIL DEATH (DO US PART) is collectively created by some of Toronto’s freshest faces in comedy, theatre, and improv, in an attempt to bridge the gap between Toronto’s comedy and theatre scenes. Join us for a night of interactive sketch-meets-theatre fun at Toronto’s historic Monarch Tavern, drink your worries away, and watch as Canada’s Cupid Corporation™ unveils the face of their company to the public for the first time.
