A true fusion player who incorporates rock, blues, jazz, soul, folk, classical, new age, country and more into his musical style, Johnson has done session work for the likes of Cat Stevens, Carole King and Christopher Cross, enjoyed a successful solo career, toured as part of the G3 tour with Joe Satriani and Steve Vai, and joined Billy Cox and the late Mitch Mitchell on the Experience Hendrix Tour.
