Catweazle Toronto is a monthly open stage with featured acts, based on the legendary Catweazle Club in Oxford, England. Open to all performers of theatre, comedy, spoken word, music, etc. With no mic and an up-close, engaged audience, we’re Toronto’s most intimate performance gathering outside your own living room.
And this month, we’re actually taking place inside someone’s living room, and you’re invited. Participating in Toronto’s Third Annual Festival of House Culture, a week of arts, music, workshops, conversations, food, fun, and community, all in people’s homes, all over the city, Nov. 20-27, we’re holding Catweazle in our co-founder Michael’s lovely loft. His beautiful piano will be available for ivory ticklers.
$7 suggested donation for non-performers, and pay-what-you-should drinks.
Most events in the festival, like this one, are open to the public on a walk-in basis. Check out the calendar of 35 events here: http://housecultureTO.blogspot.ca
