Frost/Nixon: Audio Play of Award-Winning Political Drama

The James Bridges Theatre (Los Angeles, CA)

The Tony-nominated play that spawned the critically-acclaimed 2006 film pits British TV talk-show host David Frost against disgraced former President Richard Nixon in a battle of wits and wills. Desperate to regain his standing as a serious journalist, Frost seeks to finally elicit from the Watergate-plagued Nixon a detailed explanation and apology, while the ever-political president pursues his own on-air agenda. This fascinating behind-the-scenes look at the famous 1977 series of interviews was written by Peter Morgan (The Deal, The Queen) and adapted into an Academy Award-nominated drama by Morgan and director Ron Howard. James Marsters (Buffy the Vampire Slayer) portrays Frost in this version by L.A. Theatre Works which will be recorded live for later broadcast on National Public and Satellite Radio. Learn more
