Masterpieces: Sarah Daniels’ Black Comedy by Lost Studio Theatre Co.

The Lost Studio Theatre Company presents its inaugural production, Masterpieces. A searing black comedy by British playwright Sarah Daniels (Neaptide, Dust), Masterpieces traces the disintegration of three marriages impacted by pornography and the objectification of women in early-’80s London. Controversial when it premiered in 1983, Masterpieces remains raw, disturbing and bitingly humorous, and has been hailed by the Royal National Theatre as "one of the best plays of the century." Lost Studio Artistic Director Cinda Jackson directs this L.A. premiere. Learn more.
