An authentic, 11-piece, St. Louis-style rhythm and blues band, Blowin’ Smoke comes to Harvelle’s in Long Beach. The group’s fronted by founder, bandleader, bassist and vocalist Larry "Fuzzy" Knight, and sports a groovy rhythm section, four horns, and three Fabulous Smokettes on vocals. Inspired by R&B’s golden era, Blowin’ Smoke pulls material from the likes of Ike and Tina Turner, Ray Charles, Otis Redding and Wilson Pickett, with a repertoire that includes "Shake Your Hips," "These Arms of Mine," "Let’s Have a Natural Ball" and more.
