In its 19th year, the Los Angeles Women’s Theatre Festival has acquired an international reputation by presenting more than 400 extraordinary works my multicultural women from around the world in theatre, dance, music, performance poetry, art and storytelling. "Shine!" the theme of this year’s festival, highlights remarkable stories and honors those who have made an impact in the arts world. The festival kicks off Thursday with a Champagne Gala and Awards Ceremony featuring hosts Hattie Winston (Homefront) and Ted Lange (The Love Boat), before shifting to a series of performances featuring talented women sure to inspire, motivate and entertain.
