Chamber Music in Historic Sites: Folk Bruce Molsky & Ale Möller

Santa Monica Bay Woman’s Club (Santa Monica, CA)

Fiddle and banjo player Bruce Molsky specializes in the sound of the Southern Appalachians, while his counterpart Ale Möller draws from the rich musical heritage of Sweden on the mandola, or alto mandolin. The two team up for a good ol’ down-home Scandinavian-American folk concert, exploring the historical link between the two traditions, at the venerable Santa Monica Bay Woman’s Club. The Da Camera Society of Mount Saint Mary’s sponsors this event, which includes a light reception of Appalachian snacks and Swedish treats following the performance. Learn more…
