Award-winning choreographer and filmmaker Natalie Metzger examines group think, religion and man’s tendency towards violence and destruction in her dance theater piece, Sacrament. Set in a decayed future, the unconventional narrative places a mysterious god-like figure at its center, and has been described as "the Rite of Spring meets Alien in Night of the Living Dead." Metzger often explores the boundary between the beautiful and the grotesque in her work, and blends movement, sound, video, text and more to create an immersive experience for the audience.
