V-Day at York University is presenting its second annual benefit production of Eve Enslers award-winning play, The Vagina Monologues. One hundred per cent of ticket sales will go to North York Womens Shelter and the Women and Girls of Haiti. Advance tickets cost $15, door tickets cost $20, sponsorship tickets cost $50, and group tickets are available for $12 per person for groups of eight or more. In 2011, over 5,800 V-Day benefit events took place produced by volunteer activists around the world. V-Day has raised over $85 million to date and was named one of Worth Magazines 100 Best Charities and one of the Top-Rated Organizations on Great Nonprofits in 2010.
