Featuring Giovanni Senisi. This body of work explores the concept of automobiles as shells or outer skin for those encased within them. The scars they bear suggest impact literally and symbolically and remind us of our strained relationships with the environment and each other. The wrecked car serves as an uneasy, modern vanitas.
