The Canadian Film Centre (CFC) is hosting two free short film screenings at Dufferin Grove Park on June 3rd from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. and again in the evening from 9 p.m. to 11 p.m. to launch the CFC Worldwide Short Film Festival (WSFF) happening in Toronto from June 5th to 10th. Shorts for Shorties: Flick-Nic will be the noon screening. These animated films are suitable children of 10 years of age or under. We are inviting families to bring a pic nic to enjoy during our free screening. In the evening we will be screening Christmas in June, a series of Christmas films that will make all adults feel the holiday spirit before they bust out their best holiday moves at a post-screening dance party. During both screenings we will be out with our WSFF Shorts Bus, a mobile movie theatre that will be playing a selection of short films for all audiences. Both of the screenings are great for anyone who loves movies and would like to get better idea of what to expect at the WSFF. Its also a fun way to spend a summer day in the park!
