The first thing I think of when someone mentions The Rolling Stones is “one of the greatest rocks bands ever.” The second thing I think is, “Why does Mick Jagger kinda look like an old lady?” What I don’t think is “acoustic.” But that’s what The Ultimate Stones are doing for their concert at the Simi Valley Cultural Arts Center. They’re leaving the amps and electric guitars at home and recreating what it might have been like when Mick, Keith, Charlie, Ronnie and Bill were hanging out and writing songs and just focusing on the magic of the music.
