Adam Pally, the actor who plays Max on ABC’s hit ensemble comedy Happy Endings — one of the least stereotypically gay men in television history — appears on this 90-minute Outfest panel with the show’s executive producers David Caspe and Jonathan Groff, along with fellow cast members Casey Wilson (Penny) and Stephen Guarino (Derrick). They’ll explain the origins of the schlumpy, sharp-witted Max, a character who turned a cap and an ’84 Caddy into a career as an unlicensed limo driver; spent Halloween as a giant-headed baby; and donned a fake mole for a reunion of one of Chicago’s best all-male Madonna tribute bands — Man-donna.
