She’s got maxxed out credit cards, a failing business, a dependent daughter and a landlord looking to collect the rent. In the midst of this comically dark setup, Rue takes on a boarder — an optimistic stand-up with a TV deal on the horizon. Rest assured, they don’t all live happily ever after.
