Eat|See|Hear Movies presented by Fandango is bringing their roving outdoor summer movie night to North Hollywood. Combining popular films with live indie bands and some of the city’s most famous food trucks, these outdoor events make for a quintessential California summer experience. Eat|See|Hear is rolling the largest outdoor movie screen west of the Mississippi to the North Hollywood Recreation Center for a screening of Tommy Boy, the Chris Farley/David Spade comedy about a manchild who must learn to be an adult following the death of his father. Local indie band Nightmare and the Cat open the evening with a sound that melds classic rock melodies with the postmodern atmosphere of Radiohead. As always, a variety of the city’s best food trucks will be on hand to dish out food from burgers to Brazilian, featuring a global melting pot of cuisines to choose from.
