Eat|See|Hear Movies presented by Fandango is bringing their roving outdoor summer movie night to Westwood. Combining popular films with live indie bands and some of the city’s most famous food trucks, these outdoor events make for a quintessential California summer experience. Eat|See|Hear is rolling the largest outdoor movie screen west of the Mississippi to the Westwood Recreation Center for a screening of The Karate Kid, the classic ’80s film about Daniel, a Valley teen who is bullied by rich kids. With the help of the awesome Mr. Miyagi, he becomes a karate champ and wins the girl. Local indie band So Many Wizards open the evening with their dreamy guitar-pop sound. As always, a variety of the city’s best food trucks will be on hand to dish out food from good old fashioned burgers to fusion fun like sushi burritos and Indian hot dogs.
