Classical music and classic rock unite for FASO is Bach to Rock!, an eclectic evening of symphonic music at the historic Ford Amphitheatre. Conducted by Robert Shroder, the L.A.-based Filipino American Symphony Orchestra (FASO) performs their unique symphonic arrangements of beloved classic rock songs — from Queen’s “Bohemian Rhapsody” to Led Zeppelin’s “Stairway to Heaven” to a couple of Chicago’s most memorable power ballads — as well as disco, alternative, classical and Filipino rock music. Special guests for the evening include Filipino pop star Joey Albert, jazz vocalist and guitarist Mon David and nine-year-old singer (and show-stealer) Mirielle Enriquez.
