The Neville Brothers Farewell Tour

New Orleans funk-blues icons the Neville Brothers are saying goodbye to Los Angeles from the historic outdoor stage of the Hollywood Bowl, after 35 years as a legendary group. They’ll be joined by fellow Cajun-influenced artists Trombone Shorty & Orleans Avenue, along with Grammy-nominated roots-rockers Roddie Romero & the Hub City All-Stars. The Crescent City’s Neville Brothers — otherwise known as Art, Charles, Aaron and Cyril — all had separate musical careers until they were brought together by the death of their mother Amelia in 1977, soon becoming the “First Family of Funk” with groove-filled tunes like “Sister Rosa” and “Bird on a Wire.” Lead singer Aaron’s also had several solo hits with his sweet-sounding vocals, including “Tell It Like It Is,” “Don’t Know Much” and “Everybody Plays the Fool.” Don’t miss this very special Creole-flavored show, sending the Nevilles out in grand style.
