With elements of fairy tale romance and epic adventure, Cymbeline is an exciting and vibrant tale. Artistic Director Aaron Ganz rises to the occasion, presenting a bold, spirited and fresh take on the familiar theatrical themes of forbidden romance, betrayal, and the mayhem of war. Cymbeline blends tragedy, combat, fantasy and broad comedy into a plot filled with twists and turns, centering on the banished princess Imogen. She is falsely accused of adultery, and embarks on a courageous journey to reclaim her good name and reunite with her true love. Theatrum Elysium’s portrayal of her daring quest includes expressive choreography, riveting music, explosive battle scenes, and a narrator to guide audiences through the flurry of adventure and romance.
