Jazzmopolitan’s All-Star Concert Features a Variety of Singers

The Filipino-American musicians of Jazzmopolitan have made starry nights at the Ford more luminous for the past two summers and the 2012 edition of Jazzmopolitan: All Stars brings together a galaxy of artists from across the wide spectrum of jazz. Jazzmopolitan alums — from multi-instrumentalist Abe Lagrimas Jr. to vocalists Mon David, Jaclyn Rose, Alma Silos, Becca Godinez and Louie Reyes — welcome vocalist newcomers VJ Rosales, Krystle Tugadi and Mitch Franco to the stage. The band will perform a slew of original songs influenced by bossa nova, neo-soul, rhythm and blues, funk and pop.
