War: Hometown Funk-Rock Legends Play the L.A. County Fair
Pomona Fairplex (Pomona, CA)

Los Angeles’ own legendary funk-rockers War — known for such classic hits as “Low Rider,” “Cisco Kid,” “Spill the Wine” and “Why Can’t We Be Friends?” — are set to shake up the outdoor stage at the Fair. The band’s diverse influences have made them an enduring influence on modern music, blending rock, funk, Latin, jazz and R&B into an irresistible whole. After more than 40 years and almost 50 million albums sold, War is still going strong, led by original keyboardist Leroy “Lonnie” Jordan.
