Having performed throughout the world since forming in 1994, this “little orchestra” returns to Los Angeles for their debut concert at the Greek Theatre. Comprised of twelve regular musicians including multiple percussionists, a wonderful harpist and singer China Forbes, the group mixes classical favorites with jazz and old-fashioned pop songs for an eclectic set that will perk up your ears and quicken your heart. The fun band has headlined the Hollywood Bowl, sold out Carnegie Hall and performed on Late Night with Conan O’Brien. In 2011, they released two albums: 1969, a collaboration with legendary Japanese singer Saori Yuki, and a career-spanning retrospective compilation.
